VRROOOM!
My dad bought a 2004 candy-apple red Miata! Go Daddy! :c)
This is definitely me...

The firstborn. Parents are so conscious of doing things the right way, so the firstborn gets a lot of attention. Firstborn are eternal list makers. They must stay organized in their thinking. In a group, they tend to be the ones making sure things stay structured. They are the peacemakers, always wanting things worked out. More times than not, because of their perfectionism, they become overwhelmed, but usually find a way to get back into the swing of things.

This is definitely my sister...

The lastborn. He/she is the baby of the family and by the time this child is born, the parents are much more relaxed about their parenting. The children, lastborns often say things like, Its not fair, why do they get more attention than me? They sometimes look for attention by being funny. And sometimes take it to an extreme, even to the point of crying to get attention. As adults they are normally the salesmen, the life of the party, the most lovable.

And it is definitely time for bed.

Mm. I love my sister. Even if she does STAY ON THE PHONE FOR THREE FREAKIN' HOURS!!! "BAD FREAKIN' DOG!!".
And that was just how long I was trying to call my parents...who knows how long she had been on before that! And she had the nerve to click over on call-waiting to tell me that whatever it was they called me for wasn't important! And she wasn't even on the phone with me! It was with Colen! She's already dumping me to go see him in May and she won't even talk with me on the phone. I am seriously bitter. I can tell you exactly what she's doing if she's reading this too; sitting at her desk with her lips pursed, eyebrow raised, and a half-smirk on her face. (Am I right Bobo?) How do I know this? Because I have seen it a million times! Only I'm usually there to antagonize her. It isn't half as much fun over the net. Bah.
Hungover for two days. Dog falling in the pond. Yakking on the phone for hours. I need to go home and straighten her out ;)

At least you blogged. Thank you Kitty Kat! I will expect a call from you tomorrow telling me what a loving sister I am and how much you miss me. And hide your butt. Because les jeux sont faites.......

Is it just me or does anyone else think Kelly Osbourne resembles Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid?
Bobo you need to blog more, got that? I have been waiting almost a whole week for a new post from you. Ryan has blogged more than you in the last week which is unheard of. So chop chop! :)

I had lunch with Dana and Jessica today. Somehow we got on the subject of dentists and Dana asked who I went to and I replied, "Dr.Hannon". As soon as I said it she said, "You look like a Dr. Hannon patient!". I'm not sure what that meant but I will take it as a compliment since his office is homey and cozy and everyone is really friendly (even if they are Republicans!) ;)

Also, I think I have a new addiction: Vanilla espresso bean shakes. YUM. I tried some chocolate covered espresso beans for the first time today. They were good, not nearly as strong as I thought they'd be.

Ryan is down for the weekend and a bunch of us went to eat at Chili Pepper. I don't particularly like it there but it is a Yuma institution and everyone else loves it so I went along to be with my friends :) We had a really fun time. Or I did anyway. I was a super messy eater tonight!
After, Jessica and I went to JC Penny and window-shopped then met everyone back over at Hastings. I got some Happy Bunny socks ("Hi. Cram it.") and a Happy Bunny keychain/compact mirror ("You suck and that's sad.") for Teresa. I think we're going to hang out tomorrow after she is done work and after I have had lunch with Ry before he goes back to Phoenix. Next Sunday Teresa and I are going to Phoenix to shop! 'Cause there are no decent stores here! Target, Sears, Mervyn's and JC Penny get old very fast.

Wow, this is long. I'm going to relax. Not that this entry was stressful, I just mean relax in general. SNL is on and Craig already went to bed. On my own! :c)

My grape juice is kosher for Passover. I didn't know this (not that it matters to me) until I drank some of my juice and thought it tasted too diluted and sweet. So upon investigating the label ("100% REAL JUICE!!!") I see that not only is it from concentrate with other fruit juices in it (blech), but it is also "Kosher...For Passover". If you are Jewish does everything you eat have to be Kosher? Or only at Passover or what? Based on what I know (which isn't much) I'd make a much better Jew than Catholic. A few years back, our accountant, who sends her kids to a local Catholic school, tried to get us to donate $200 to the local Catholic school board so we could claim it as a tax deduction. I told her I'd rather give the $200 to the government to install gold toilet seats in the Pentagon than to teach kids that abortion and homosexuality are wrong, and let child-molesting priests go on their merry way.
She didn't like that.
We now have a new accountant ;)
What is up with people who eat an extremely poor diet, don't exercise, and then sue fast food companies for their health problems? Is that not akin to purposely setting yourself on fire, then suing the match manufacturer and saying, 'I didn't know that was going to burn me!'?
It's okay, it isn't like the courts are overflowing with other cases that need to be heard. In fact, they could probably use some extra work so it's good that these idiots are around to waste everyone's time with these frivolous lawsuits.

I am compiling a list of all the "bad" things Kim and I have done/gotten into/had the misfortune of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...
(more will follow as I think of them)

My bed (CRACK!)
Kim's bed (CRACK!) and the strategic placement of the cans of chick peas that followed
The bed in the hotel in Ottawa (BOOM!)
Pink nailpolish on my cream carpet ("Just shut up and keep scrubbing!")
Mark Rothko
"Hey Ratzo Fatso!!!"
I have decided it's time to colour my hair. Anyone who knows me knows that the only person who touches my hair (other than myself) is Lisa. However Lisa is back home and since I probably won't be there until June, and since my roots are threatening to form The Democratic Republic of Viki's Natural Hair Colour, I have decided to take my hair in my hands and dye it closer to its original colour...I'm thinking a sort of Catherine Zeta Jones colour. Apparently highlights are out and one-tone colour is in. And this will be less maintenance until I can get in to see Lisa.
Too bad Bobo isn't here to dye it for me, we have fun doing stuff like that. And we seem to have an uncanny ability to break/stain/ruin things which inevitably entails us having to fix/hide the damage from Mom. He he he.

Someone went to mysearch.com and searched for "george w. bush stickers" and a link to my blog was one of the results! I'm laughing my butt off.
I hope they weren't looking for some sort of pro-Bush crap; they will be sorely disappointed, though I would relish the look of surprise and disgust on their face. If, however, they were looking for an anti-Bush girl to commiserate with, then they have come to the right place! :)

I love my sister! She is so cute :)

I also got to hang put with Rymonster today too!

I have been informed by several people that it's past my bedtime. So I am now off to stay up even later. Hehehe, kidding. Time for sleep. Zzzzzzzzz....

My Dad and I signed up to pilot the Pants-On-Fire-mobile when it comes through Arizona!!! Woo hoo!!!

Wednesday, March 17, 2004

I ate a Ding Dong today. Apparently this was my second run-in with a Ding Dong. Craig swears I had one a few years back. I don't remember it. I guess it wasn't very memorable. Neither was this one. It was somewhat dry and not very chocolatey. And the cream filling left a lot to be desired. However, now that I can cross Ding Dongs off my list of junk foods I have never eaten before (and probably never will again) I am freed up to pursue the intricacies of Ring Dings and Ho Hos. Ahhh, American junk food.

Switching gears, I got to hang out with two U.S. Marshals today! They came into the office looking for a guy in the park behind us and I got to pick their brains while we waited for Donna to come over with the tennant list. They were undercover. It was neato. They were calling their people and running license plates and showing us mug shots to see if we had seen any of the people they were looking for. I hope they come back, that was fun :)

I got to talk to my Aunt Chris, my cousin Heather, my Mom and my Dad tonight! It was a chatty evening :)
Heather is getting married in May! She was in my wedding so I can't wait to see her get married. Most of our discussion was about wedding plans :)
I "talked" to my sister too but that was on MSN. She has a date tomorrow. On that note; if anyone in Kingston, Ontario is interested in a job as a spy/bodyguard, e-mail me.

I am working on my Dad's birthday prezzie, however since I now know he reads this I can't go into detail.
Hi Daddy :)
The cheque's in the mail.

Sunday, March 14, 2004

I'm so proud of my sister. She is taking up my cause :) Go read her blog if you don't know what I'm talking about.

In other fast-breaking news, Albertsons had Breyers half gallon ice cream on for $1.99! I went a little nuts and got 3 containers (coffee, chocolate and orange-vanilla creamsicle) but hey, it's ice cream; it'll last. Plus with the way this heat is sticking around you can never have too much ice cream :)

Craig ended up not having to work late today, he was home around noon. Yippee!!

Tomorrow I think is boating.

My tummy is rumbly. I need a snack.

Saturday, March 13, 2004

Am I the one who is supposed to remain nameless? I hope so, I love to be an annonymous troublemaker ;)

Chilina called me! It was nice to talk to her, it had been too long! They are in San Francisco now. I want to go see her when she is performing in L.A.
Fenner has been accepted to the Ph.D program at Osgoode Hall so they might go there, they are just waiting to hear from New York and England (I forget which schools he applied to there). I don't know how that guy can stomach so much school.

I am waiting for my pizza. Num num.

Craig has to work most of the weekend...he's still there now actually...but I'm hoping we can take the boat out on Sunday. This heat is driving me bonkers!

My doggy is the cutest and smartest ever! :)

Bush-Cheney 2004: No billionaire left behind

In the span of 5 minutes today I saw 2 "Bush Cheney 2004" stickers, 1 "I stand with President George W. Bush" stickers and 1 anti-abortion sticker. What a bunch of idiots. But really, what do I expect? Here I am in this pocket of ultra-conservative, good ol' boy territory. Do these people really understand what Bush and his cronies are doing to this country? Something tells me that if people would stop believing everything that comes out of the WH press room and everything they see on the news and look at what is really happening to this country they wouldn't be so pro-Bush.
I love driving around with my anti-Bush bumper stickers. I love watching the people in the car behind me when I'm stopped at a red light reading my stickers. That's right, read those stickers and maybe get it through your skull that we aren't all gullible GOP clones, and we care enough to promote an alternative (and the truth!).

Of course, if you want to take us back to the days of illegal back-alley abortions, more job losses, rampant paranoia (quick! Someone call HUAC!), extensive damage to Social Security, no socialized health care and illegal wars waged against oil-rich countries (and a few non oil-rich ones just to make it look like it's a coincidence) then by all means Bush is your man.
I love Headlines on The Tonight Show. They always crack me up. I need to figure out a way to put a random one on my blog each day.

I have been making a (very) concerted effort to keep the kitchen clean since we super-cleaned it last weekend. It is spotless. Every night I load up the dishwasher and clean the countertops and get rid of any clutter. Last night I slacked off and didn't do that so tonight not all of the dishes fit in the dishwasher. I am a firm believer in the "If it won't fit in the dishwasher, I'm not washing it" school of thought so the two pots and various utensils will have to wait until tomorrow :)

Speaking of tomorrow, Craig has to be at kofa at 6:30 so I better get in bed.

Sunday, March 07, 2004

I showed Bobo how to set up her own blog! You should go visit it, she's super cool!! She's my sister, she has to be, right? ;)

We also traded some designs for our sister tattoos that we're going to get. We found some base designs that we like, now we just need to work on modifying and personalizing.

We now have chickens living in the shed. There is a mom chicken and then about 12 little tiny chicks. They are cute. Po thought they were playmates and tried to go chase them but the mom chicken came out and bopped him on the nose so he doesn't mess with them anymore :)

Craig is making garlic bread so I should go eat dinner, then walk PoDog.
I added a weather pixie for me and Bobo each. I like seeing what is going on back home :)
And put your pin on my guestmap!! >;)

Gracie and I made chocolate chip cookies together today. It was fun. She accidentally dumped a cup of brown sugar on the floor, but nothing the broom couldn't fix. She was actually very good at it! We ate some and then layed on the couch together until it was time for me to take her home. She is such a cutie. I love when I get to cuddle with her. She's my little lovebug. I can't believe she's going to be 4 in July!

Yesterday. Po comes to work with me every morning and yesterday he was hanging out in Dan's office and some clients came in and so they were all in Dan's office going over contracts and stuff and I heard this commotion and then I heard the lady say, "I think he just threw up!". So I go into Dan's office and the three of them are standing over Po who has just ralphed up one of my old, used cosmetic sponges, one of Gracie's dolls (in many pieces), some cardboard and some grass. Lovely. I would probably throw up too if that was in my tummy. Crazy dog. So I cleaned it up and the meeting went forth. Heehee.

Then, not an hour later I was walking from the parking lot into Gracie's pre-school to pick her up and I was wearing heels, albeit very small ones, and it had just rained and the concrete at the school is painted and was slippery and I managed to somehow fling my foot out to the side, plant it and do an unplanned version of the splits all while flailing my arms. Even worse, I made this horrible noise as I was going down, like a parrot squawking mixed with a scream, "BRRAWHH!". That noise that came out of my mouth was almost more embarrassing than the spontaneous gymnastics show I put on.

I'm still laughing out loud about it. At least I can amuse myself :)

Monday, March 01, 2004

Oi. What a day. And it's only half over. This afternoon shouldn't be as nuts though. Dan had two offers going on a piece of property and so we were faxing offers and counter offers back and forth and then he had to leave to go to a meeting so I had to finish the process, which is easy enough, but the printer decided it didn't want to print the fax cover sheets and the fax machine decided to retaliate by eating two pages at once. During all this the garbage truck came and started talking to me. Well, the truck didn't talk to me, the guy who was driving it did. Then the phone kept ringing, it was one of the potential buyer's agent wanting to know if we were going to accept her offer (we did).

Now I am at home with Grace. I was going to work on my invites (by hand) while she napped but I made up a different (much cuter!) one real quick on my computer at work and e-mailed it to Craig, hopefully he'll be nice enough to print it for me :)
I just had my first (and second and third) s'mores! Yummy! Craig made it for me! I'm not sure why I didn't eat them when I was little...I didn't particularly care for graham crackers when I was little so that might have had something to do with it.

We also SUPER cleaned the kitchen today. It's almost scary how clean it is. I love it!

I also have TMJ so my jaw hurts.
I also have a headache and need to get up early to walk Po before work tomorrow so I should go to bed.
'Night! :)
